Religious Intolerance
In Mesoamerica, the most obvious practice of human sacrifice was found in the Aztec culture. Under the leadership of Montezuma and others before him, sacrifice became a key element in their ritual and worship to many gods. The Aztecs were constantly at war with neighboring tribes and groups. The goal of this constant warfare was to collect live prisoners for sacrifice.
The Aztec religion no longer exists, and nobody misses it. The world no longer tolerates religions that practice human sacrifice.
The Aztecs and other New World natives also practiced cannibalism.
The world community no longer tolerates cannibalistic religions and cultures.
So why is the world community bending over backwards to understand a religion that preaches hatred of anyone who is not one of their own and the killing and enslavement of infidels -- Jews in particular? We didn't tolerate the anti-Semitism of Nazi Germany (well, FDR did), so why do we tolerate the genocidal culture of Islam?
Muslim terrorists say this is a holy war. Fine. Let's take it to the level of a religious war. Let's do everything we can to prevent these barbarians from enjoying their 72 virgins and their 29 young boys in Paradise.
It is desecration to cremate a Muslim? Fine. Pile their bodies up like cord-wood and light up the night sky after every battle.
Pigs are unclean? Fine. Jam a cube of pork fat into the mouth of every dead, wounded or captured Muslim fighter. Bring a hypodermic needle filled with pig blood into every interrogation and don't hesitate to use it to get terrorists to talk.
Take the holy war to them.
There is a story that before World War I, General Pershing put down a Muslim rebellion in the Philippines by executing 50 terrorists and burying them in a pit with pig blood and entrails. The insurrection supposedly stopped dead in its tracks.
This story may or may not be true, but why not give it a try? I mean, if these terrorists believe that killing an infidel will propel them straight into Paradise, they could very well be superstitious enough to believe Spam could bar the gates to them.
At any rate, the blood-soaked 7th century religion of Islam should have no more consideration in the 21st century than the blood-soaked 16th century religion of the Aztec Empire.
Of course, this would drive liberals nuts. The people who see nothing wrong with displaying a crucifix in a jar of urine, bows down low in the name of tolerance to the religion that is trying to destroy Judaism and Christianity. The validation of Islam is not tolerance, it is politically-correct stupidity.

No truer words have ever been spoken.
We rush to tolerate the intolerable intolerants.
I just watched 'Kingdom of Heaven', now if that isn't the most one sided story of the crusades I have ever seen, I don't know what is. Never in the movie did you see the negatives of muslims, only the Christians. I wish I would have read some reviews before I spent my well earned money on that trash!
What do you expect from Ridley Scott. I love the movies he does usually but he is British and extremely PC. He refused to depict any dismemberment of the US soldier in Black Hawk Down because of the way it made the Muslims look even though we know they chopped the soldier up and spread it around the town. So he has take historical license in the past.
