What's In My Head

I got Susan Boyle's first CD for Christmas (no, I did not buy it for myself) and I love every song on it. This version of Cry Me A River is better than any I have ever heard.

WEll, Lone, thanks for a most enjoyable thirty minutes of my morning that I will never get back!! I just listened to about two dozen versions of the song sung by various and sundry female vocalists and while we are Big Boyle fans, and she is great, there is nothing outstanding about her version--It seems to be a song that sultry sirens can sing with a lot of emotion and do it well.--We'd put her in the top five, tho. Happy New Year. Julie London is our favorite in this category. Roll tide roll.

I listened to the Julie London verson, but I don't think she put as much heart into it that Boyle did.

Susan Boyle is very talented. I am so glad that the world is beginning to realize that.

Her style is hers, and may not be as contemporary as some would prefer, but she is a world-class talent.

I listened BEFORE I posted the Susan Boyle version. It was the song that was in my head, not the singer.
