Very apropos.

Substitute Katrina relief for Haiti and the parallels are striking (save Sean Penn's row boat fiasco):
a) Incompetence/incapacity of the impacted state government
b) Dilatory assistance of U.S. Government (children without food for 5 days)
c) Unimplemented, preventative construction details
d) Outbreaks of violence
e) Largely black victims

Yet, the media do not pounce relentlessly upon Obama to hound him for the remainder of his term.
Hmmm!

That is one sick cartoon if I'm reading it right...

Don't think the Dim-ocrats don't have a contingency plan up their sleeves.

They had to know the Massachusetts seat wasn't a sure thing.

I think they are going to try to push the health care bill through before Brown is seated. See my post on the subject.

The reason is simple: Bush caused Katrina, Obama did not cause the earthquake in Haiti.

Something just doesn't seem right with that statement.

Hmmm, I didn't think of that aspect of the cartoon. But I see it now.

Now, even Sean Penn has assessed the situation from Haiti:

“But the mission is so centered on Port Au Prince that some of the other areas, the epicenter areas, are being under-serviced. It’s just a complicated situation. But I think it has to be continually reported that Port Au Prince is not all of the issue.”
