Shut Up and Sit Down

When the left was bashing President Bush and doing everything in their power to undermine the War on Terror, they considered dissent to be the "highest form of patriotism." But now that the tables have been turned and it is President Obama who is feeling the heat, he wants dissenters to not do a lot of talking and get out of the way. Arrogant democrat leaders are actually demonizing constituents who DARE to question their wisdom. It seems these "mobs" are not grassroots, but "astroturf" -- organized and paid for by big insurance companies. Organized? Since when do conservatives organize? That's conservatives' biggest problem, they seldom get upset enough to take to the streets. They are the silent majority, who have been content to let the left steamroll right over them. But, even if the allegations were true, it seems the community organizer doesn't like it when communities organize --against him. The dems have been predicting that it's only a matter of time before these town hall meetings become violent. Their prophecies became self-fulfilling after they unleashed union thugs in the meetings. On Thursday, six people were arrested at a meeting in St. Louis. It seems four of them attacked a conservative black man who was selling flags and buttons, beating and kicking him and using racial epithets. The attackers were wearing SEIU shirts. The attacks came just hours after deputy chief of staff Jim Messina told senators in a meeting on how to handle raucous meetings, “If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard.” Just a month ago, smug democrats were predicting the demise of the Republican party, but now they are in full meltdown mode. August is usually a pretty boring month politically, with the federal government on vacation, but this year, I feel like a kid with the circus in town.

The revolution has begun.

I said the same thing as the Dems did yesterday. I told my wife, "This is going to get bloody."

BTW, if it does, Conservatives will win the battle. We have all the guns!

Circuses are usually full of clowns, and this circus is unusually full of clowns.

"...we have all the guns." Good one, Mark!

Somewhere in the back of my mind I hear an echo of Hillary screeching about how sick and tired she was of being told not to question the Bush administration...
