So, I stopped by a Giant grocery store after work Monday to pick up a few odds and ends. On the news this morning, I heard that some guy robbed the Wakovia bank inside the store just a half hour after I left! How can I fight crime, if these criminals won't cooperate with my schedule?
Big hoopla about banks going belly-up. What nobody is saying is that rules for lending practises were loosened during the Clinton administration. McCain co-sponsored a bill in 2005 that would have tightened up the rules again, but Democrats blocked it. After all, isn't it wonderful that the poor can get into a home of their own? No job, no income, no assets, but people were still able to get a home loan. Those banks deserved to go belly up. Another thing that nobody is talking about is that Obama got the second-highest amount of lobbyist money from Fanny Mae in the Senate. I keep my money in a credit union.
Sam now knows how to follow directions from me pointing. When I throw his toy while we're playing fetch and he can't find it, he will look at me and I'll point at it. He goes straight to it. Looks like I have another dogcat.

I loved my trakball until the little plastic pads wore out in it and it became uncontrollable...
Now I have a wireless optical, and I'm still trying to get used to it.
At what point do we start to blame the people who signed on the line and promised to make the payments on these loans no matter what?
And Obama has absolutely no right to say a mother @%$!&*? word about who is to blame for the Mortgage/Banking crisis until he can explain why he is the number two recipient of lobbying monies from that industry, even though he has only been in Washington for two of the twenty years in the report.
And as I write this, I can see my ten-year-old Lahssa-Apso asleep on the back of the couch, just like a cat.
Huhmn...
I confess that I am a moron about finance, but what did they expect? They were allowing banks to lend money out to people who can't afford toothpaste, and on top of that, they sold adjustable rate mortgages to people at 3% (or thereabouts) interest, knowing full well the rates would go up long before the mortgagee could pay the higher rates.
I agree with Mark Levin. We need a special prosecutor and we need to get these people up before a Grand Jury. Now!
Every time I've tried to point at anything for my dogs, they just stare at my finger...
I believe you are the first person I've read actually point the finger at the Clinton Administration where it belongs. This is a direct result of Bill's politically correct multi-culti revolution. I can only imagine how Obama would add to it if given the chance.
