Furry Tongue

Sam warmed up to me today after he found out I was a source of skritches and petting. So, as I slept, he alternated between climbing all over me and rearranging my furniture. I can sleep soundly, but still know everything that is going on around me. That's how I know that at one point when I yawned, Sam stuck his entire head into my mouth. And here I thought I'd experienced just about everything the world has to offer. But, waking up with a mouthful of kitten was an entirely new experience. He's like a dragonfly. He hovers in one spot for awhile and then, ZAP, he's across the room. I haven't seen him walk anywhere. It's hard to believe he's been on this earth for just 10 weeks. When I was 10 weeks old, I couldn't even walk, much less use a litter box. They learn fast.

Today, I'm going to keep my mouth closed and my briefs on. No entree vous.

I had a cat that looked a lot like Sam once. His name was T.J. He was named for his Mother, Taz, and his father, Junior. Hence, T.J.

He was all white except for some small brown and gray spots, but his tail was all gray. When my brother in law saw him, he remarked, "Well, now, you can't decide what color you want to be, can you?"

He is totally adorable. You can't be blamed for bringing him home...how could you possibly resist?

Congrats! on the new member of your family. He is cute and I love the name Sam too.

I am in my last weeks with my small dog Sunshine. I rescued her 5 years ago and now she has a bladder tumor. She is bleeding all over the house!

The vet says surgery wouldn't cure it so I have to put her to "sleep." But I honestly can't believe I have to do this. I am still talking about doing it when it has been over a month since I have known.

The thought of her little white sweet face disappearing is more than I can bear but I cannot let her live on painkillers forever.

I feel like a failure I can't save her. Do you think having the procedure done at home is better than the vet hospital?

What a cutie!

Is there something you haven't told us that entails briefs?? ;)

Nope, I just figured he tried to get in the front door, so I'm not going to let him sneak in the back.

Tonto, I'd say do it at the clinic, unless he has an aversion to the place.
