A Good Quote

"So, it is with conviction that I support this resolution as being in the best interest of our nation. And it is a vote that says clearly to Saddam Hussein, this is your last chance. Disarm or be disarmed." Who said this? President Bush? Vice President Cheney? Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist? Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert? Nope, that was New York Senator Hillary Clinton on October 10th, 2002. Depends on what the definition of "conviction" is.

What you left out of this report is that later that day, she spoke to a group of Buddhists, and she told them that the United states should adopt a policy of Positive National Meditation, and send good karmic vibrations toward the Hussein Regime until there was peace.

The next day, she addressed a class of first-graders, to which she announced that Saddam Hussein was a "Poopy-head", and that he should be made to stand in the corner until he could behave.

Then she proposed raising everybody's taxes. (Except your's.)

I don't think it's right to bash Ms. Clinton just because she's a Liar and a Hypocrite-- she's not alone there among politicians...

The Clintons are the only people who lie when there is absolutely no reason to lie. Why tell people you were named after Sir Edmund Hillary? Why tell people you remember church burnings in Arkansas when there weren't any? And why tell lies that are so easily disproved? It's a sign of a mental illness, not of their character.
