Hillary Rewrites History

OK, so there's a big brouhaha between B. Hillary Clinton and B. Hussein Obama because Hillary credited LBJ (the Vietnam warlord) for passing the 1965 Voting Act. Obama is upset because she gave no credit to Martin Luther King Jr. Neither of them gave credit to the Republicans, without whom the bill would never had gotten through Congress. It was Senate Republican Leader Everett Dirksen (R-IL), who overcame Democrat attempts to block the 1965 Voting Rights Act; 94% of Senate Republicans voted for the legislation, while 27% of Democrats opposed it. AND the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was introduced and approved by a staggering majority of Republicans in the Senate. The Act was opposed by most southern Democrat senators, several of whom were proud segregationists—one of them being Al Gore Sr. Democrat President Lyndon B. Johnson relied on Illinois Senator Everett Dirksen, the Republican leader from Illinois, to get the Act passed.

I saw a colored water fountain once in San Pedro, California. I forget whether the water was red or blue.
