Let me show you one of the comments I've received about my new blog.
Wow! Look at all that GOOD NEWS!
I guess there is a tiny bit of good news.
Golly, a kid fell down a well. Soldiers helped get him out.
And there is a neighborhood in Baghdad (one of 30 or 40) they felt safe enough to do a census and see who's left after all the violence!
The only bit of GOOD news that is not just "business as usual" in an armed occupation is the fact that a group is now making an effort to restore services that have been down for 4 f***ing years. Of course they'll still do combat patrols, so it's not like they are REALLY focusing on the services.
I wonder what it's like to have it be 110 degrees during the day with no electricity, no running water, and no f***ing sewer? I doubt I'll call it good.
Hey, maybe if you right wing extremists who get a kick out of pretending you support the troops actually enlist they can get the job done.
Think about it. I know you won't.
Of course, that came from a liberal. You can tell by the total cluelessness, the arrogance and the profanity. And here is my response:
I know it may not sound like good news to you because you've never had to suffer even an inconvenience, much less a hardship in your entire life. You can sit on your pampered, doughy butt and mock the country that allows you to live your meaningless life, never doing a noble or courageous thing as long as you live. But it's good news for these people and good news for the troops who know what it is to feel pride in a job well done.
Another purpose of that blog is to expose the corruption of the liberal media. The baby down the well story is gold to journalists. It attracts worldwide attention, sells newspapers, hikes ratings, boosts careers -- unless it happens in Iraq. Then, nobody hears about it.
Conservatives think, liberals feel -- and arrogantly mock.
You notice the mean-spirited tone that liberals always use? They are not nice people.

Lone Ranger, thank you for your new blog, which I hold in high esteem and plan very shortly to introduce via a link to my readers.
Your statement, "Conservatives think, liberals feel -- and arrogantly mock", certainly seems true for the radical left's misguided followers, who define themselves as vulgar and immature drones with their incessant name-calling, inability/unwillingness to engage in debate, and liberal use of profanity.
Your statement has little applicability to the radical left's leadership, who desguise their "collegial", bipartisan extortion of our Congress and their natural affinity with the parasitic profession of limousine trial lawyers, the insurance industry, payday loan executives and 99% of all lobbyists.
If lobbying Congress is necessary to educate its members, why does so much of the education take place in quarters where public (voters) oversight is absent? How often are voters judgements overridden by lobbying influence and pressures? Since almost all lobbyists are lawyers,we do not even have to guess who is responsible for this tyranny.
Only a liberal would go this far out of their way (and in this manner) to inform you that they think you are foolish. Why? Because everyone of them think they are smarter than everyone else.
No wait. I take that back. Everyone of them FEELS they are smarter than everyone else.
Elitists all.
This must all be making my liberal sister very uncomfortable.
Maybe that pig should follow his own advice and enlist. Being shot at might change his view. Lone Ranger has been there, done that, thank you very much, Liberal Zooking Scum...
