Cutty Sark Burns!

One of my favorite sailing ships is burning!
DATELINE:LONDON, May 21, 2007 (AFP) -
The Cutty Sark, the world's last remaining tea clipper and one of London's tourist attractions, caught fire Monday morning, firefighters said.

The boat-museum, under reconstruction and due to reopen in 2009, was still on fire at 5:30 am (0430 GMT) and firefighters were concerned gas canisters on board for repair work could explode.

The only remaining tea clipper, the Cutty Sark made its first voyage in 1870, and is one of the most famous ships in the world.
Whenever I went on a remote tour where I could not take my family, I bought a model of the Cutty Sark and spent a year putting it together as carefully as possible. I've left Cutty Sark models behind in Thailand, two places in Korea and in Turkey.

The story makes it sound like the ship could be a total loss. This is really sad.
