Tokyo Rosie is leaving The View. Don't let the shoji door hit you on the way out. She says it was a contractual dispute. The "official" story is she wanted a one-year contract at $10 million and ABC wanted a three-year contract. So, Rosie is doing exactly what she has accused the Bush administration of doing -- lying about her motives. I don't know what her future will be, but I can't think of any large organization who would hire a loose cannon like her. But, I have no sympathy for her. I imagine she'll use all her free time to roll around in her money like Scrooge McDuck in his treasure vault. All the left-wing nutjobs are blaming conservatives like Bill O'Reilly of shooting her down. We can only wish conservatives had so much power. First they claim that conservatism is on its last legs, then they say conservatives have god-like powers. Pick a paranoid delusion and stick with it!
