Pelosi TV Star -- In Terrorist Homes
I'm just sitting here watching Al-Jazeera, and Nancy Pelosi and her gang of treacherous surrender monkeys are stars. They're getting more coverage on Arab TV than Anna Nicole Simpson on Fox News.
I just can't believe that these people don't understand that their anti-war rhetoric and actions are not only demoralizing our troops but encouraging the enemy. So, the only conclusion I can draw is that the Democrats are deliberately undermining the war effort and placing our troops in danger just to embarrass President Bush. "We support the troops," has become a grisly joke.
It's the only conclusion I can draw because nobody could be that stupid, not even Democrats. And 17 Republicans sided with the Democrats.
The Republican Party needs a savior. Newt is looking better and better.

They know exactly what they are doing. They have no souls...
The Arnold Syndrome, yes?
Benedict was for the Revolutionary War before he was agin' it.
Under our system of law, people may be assumed to intend the logical consequences of their actions.
Lone Ranger, 70 % of Republicans who voted with Pelosi were LAWYERS. Obviously, LAWYERS are the usual cheerleaders for military defeat. The 11 Republican LAWYERS who voted for the resolution were:
Castle
Coble
Davis, Tom
Duncan
Inglis
Johnson (IL)
Keller
Kirk
Latourette
Petri
Ramstad
According to the American Bar Association, one out of every 300 people is a lawyer. And,naturally, they gravitate more toward professions like law making than bread baking. So, I'm not surprised to see so many lawyers in Congress. Let me remind you that my sidekick is a lawyer. And, with the weasels manning the bench these days, theoretically, the better crafted a law is, the better it is for the people. Unfortunately, most of the stuff Congress turns out is drek anyway.
Also remember more than 75% of those who became lawyers or rather went to law school...wish they did something else. Highest rate of alcoholism and dissatisfaction with their jobs. I don't know a lawyer who is not slightly disillusioned after the first few years.
I don't know what this all means because I am a lawyer yet, I don't like most lawyers, since I became one they haven't treated me all that well as it is.
Yet the law and the understanding of it is a very powerful thing and wonderful things have come from it. Our forefathers were sheer geniuses because they were so practical and common sensical and understood basic human principles.
Yet I know what you mean Vigilis there is always a downside. If our laws could once be that great, of course, they can and have become that bad.
One thing I've learned...Law is like Money...it has no respect of persons and there is no innate goodness in either law or money...it is all what "you" do with it.
Unfortunately we have not picked any good "yous" lately and they definitely have not done anything good with it as of late.
Gingrich is no lawyer, nor should 2% of our populace occupy 53% of Senate seats, in my opinion. In my state we aim to get rid of one next election.
Gingrich's command of what too many college professors find difficult, facts and solutions to pressing problems is rare in both today's academia and politics.
My point is not that lawyers are bad for society (without elaborate explanation it may seem that way), but that they tend to act more "collegial" to each other in the Senate and House than loyal to conservative constituents.
Tonto, you have probably attended lectures by my favorite cousin, an attorney and esteemed author. His opinions about his profession comport with yours.
In the listing of turncoat lawyers I provided in my first comment, one of the Republicans made it difficult to learn he had really graduated from a law school. He is not the first.
Hey Vigilis you got me to thinking...what do you think is worse...professors or lawyers?
And why don't professors...since they are the hot rods on college campuses...run for office??? They teach government, politics, peace studies, etc.
Never hear about a prof gone congressman??
