A Possible Change of Mind
I know I was a bit leery about the new comedy show coming up on Fox News, but I've been rethinking the matter. For some reason, I can't post youtube videos since I changed over to the new blogger, but here's a clip of the new show.
I'm hoping this will give liberals a VALID reason to hate Fox News. Why should Jon Stewart get in all the licks? At first, I was didn't like this idea. Why should a news channel, especially the number one news channel in the world, do a comedy show? But then I figured, if Fox News doesn't do it, who will?
The worst thing you can possibly do to a liberal is laugh at him. They are SO self-important. Actually, I'm looking forward to this show. 10 pm, Eastern, Sunday.

I just put it into my TiVo. Can't wait to read your review and compare notes.
If not the show, we can always go over to youtube and read the comments for a real laugh. Probably an average age of 24. Most of the comments are "neocon this" and "faux that". Then there's the usual, "msm is already conservative enough!" bs. It's enough to make you dumber after 5 minutes of reading.
Darn. I missed it. I forgot it was going to be on. I watched a DVD of "Her Alibi" instead.
Ok, I watched the clip. I have to say it was funny but not very impressive. It DID appear to have a laugh track, which cheapens it in my opinion, and the "anchors" didn't seem natural. One can tell they are reading off a teleprompter, which I'm sure Jon Stewart does also, but at least he sounds like he isn't.
I think it needs only one change to improve it, and that would be to have Dennis Miller host the show. He's a natural.
I think their stiff reading was a parody of some real newscasters. I'm finding out that only two episodes were produced. The next one runs in March. I guess they're being careful with it.
