My Kind of Charity -- Or Not
It seems that Hillary is plagued with the same problem that confounds Barbie, "Math is hard."
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and former president Bill Clinton have operated a family charity since 2001, but she failed to list it on annual Senate financial disclosure reports on five occasions.....
Clinton's spokesman said her failure to report the existence of the family foundation and the senator's position as an officer was an oversight. Her office immediately amended her Senate ethics reports to add that information late yesterday after receiving inquiries from The Washington Post.
An oversight? I count that as FIVE oversights. And then trust the Clintons to make a buck even off of charitable giving.
The foundation has enabled the Clintons to write off more than $5 million from their taxable personal income since 2001, while dispensing $1.25 million in charitable contributions over that period.
Where do I go to start a foundation? I wanna make five times as much as I give too! My monthly Children International bill is going up to $22 in April!

O.k. she started it in 2001...she "forgot" 5 times out of a possible 6. So she managed to remember it once.
I hardly think it was due to staying up all night with Bill struggling to fill in the blanks on "TurboTax."
I'm surprised they didn't name Chelsea "Charity" so when they said "All the money goes to Charity" they could act as though they were telling the truth.
Kurt Vonnegut, Liberal author, wrote a book entitled God Bless you, Mr Rosewater, about a wealthy man, who inherited his wealth, felt guilty about the fact that he was wealthy without having earned it.
In the book, Vonnegut described the use of charitable foundations as tax shelters, used primarily to avoid having to pay taxes on the family's assets. This is the kind of charitable foundation Hillary has, it appears.
It isn't for helping anyone but her and Bill.
If, somehow, they actually do help someone, they can use that to further her political ambitions. I don't see how every voter in America doesn't see through this charade.
