A firefighter just won $2.7 million against his own fellow firefighters for a prank where they fed him dog food over pasta. By the way his nickname happened to be BIG DOG. You can read the details here. After reading this all I can say as a lawyer, if this act was intended to be racist...Kerry really is a war hero. The firefighters were obviously not represented by a good lawyer. The lawyer obviously did not get it across to any juror that...he cannot participate in his own harassment...of any kind, even if it is sexual, racial, or otherwise....he did pranks too...showing that pranks for him were not unwanted. If the pranks were not unwanted it can't be harassment or intended that way. But I guess the jury actually believed some old 300 year racial slur that I have never heard of before and not likely known by those other firefighters who were his friends...that eating dog food is about being black...whatever.
How does someone like him go back to work after suing your own? I guess with $2.7 million you don't? Today here in L.A. if you didn't get the pleasure from hearing it on the local news...man I hate the sound of their voices...Maxine Waters...a nut and Jesse Jackson...a hyprocrtical idiot...It disturbs me greatly that he has the name Reverand in the front of his name still...gave a press conference.
In light of the whole MICHAEL RICHARDS fiasco they are asking everyone to STOP USING THE "N" WORD!!! Yep just everyone stop. I hope they were talking to black people too. So in the spirit of ending racial division...I would like to tell this firefighter and any kind of person who would sue for the same thing....STOP SUING FOR STUPID THINGS. The world does not owe you anything...in fact, you owe the world just for being allowed in it. If you only know what real racial or sexual harassment was.
**One side note...I am having a Jesse Jackson moment here....Jesse Jackson actually said too in his press conference...he cannot forgive MICHAEL RICHARDS yet because it is not time. RICHARDS has not shown contrition...

HOLDER OF THE FORGIVENESS...OK then tell that to the Amish parents who forgave that lunatic...OH and to your daughter that you had illegitimately and didn't raise or see!!!........................ok moment over.

I think the Richards thing is just too funny. Suddenly this liberal activist is slinking around like a whipped dog, offering up whiny apologies whenever someone raises a rolled up newspaper at him. It's like he peed on the new carpet. He's at the mercy of all these racial hustlers and there isn't a thing he can do about it except walk around with his head bowed and lick boots. The fact is, no matter how much he denies it, he is a racist. I haven't met a liberal who isn't. Remember after Hurricane Ivan when Teresa Heinz said, "Clothing is wonderful, but let them go naked for a while, at least the kids. Water is necessary, and then generators, and then food, and then clothes."
After all, they're only jungle people.
This stuff happens all the time. But the outrage is targeted only at select people. Richards was so overboard and is so irrelevant to the liberal agenda that hucksters like Jesse (Hymie Town) Jackson don't worry about using him as a straw man to generate more money, notoriety and support.

As for the fireman thing, is it funny to feed dog food to a black man? No. It doesn't even make sense. Is it funny to feed dog food to a guy who takes pride in being called, "Big Dog?" Yeah, it might be. At least it makes sense. It would have been more racist to put a big watermelon down in front of the guy.
This guy is simply a bully, who reacts badly when challenged. He had no problem pulling pranks on others, but when he became the butt of a joke, he went crying to the courts.
From what the story says, the dog food didn't taste that bad. The only real beef (heh) he should have is that eating dog food is dangerous. We are susceptible to things that dogs aren't, so their food isn't processed to the high level of safety and cleanliness that human food is.
Well if that is the case Frenziedfeline then the city Council are the Biggest idiots and losers in this case. They panicked when they didn't need to and I know it was their attorneys who told them to. Funny I used to represent cities and public schools and when I have been asked what to do in similar situations not racial but sexual harassment cases...the first thing I always say is...let's get this case thrown out for being STUPID. I have only had four like this and all four were thrown out or we won at trial so I know they could have tried. What a waste and now this is like advertising for any nut who is not White to sue!
