Animal Tails

Top of tree -- bear. Bottom of tree -- cat.

A black bear got more than it bargained for after straying into a family garden in the US state of New Jersey. The unwelcome intruder was forced up a tree - twice - by the family pet, a tabby cat called Jack.

The terrified bear was only able to make its escape when owner Donna Dickey called the hissing cat into the house.

A few years ago that could have been my sister's cat. Katie caught a duck once. We were amazed at her hunting prowess, and the fact she would keep the dogs or coyotes at bay.

I e-mailed my beloved sister the video, she agreed.

Michael showed that picture to me yesterday. I love it. Cats are fearless and if you do something to tick them off... watch out!

My cats are afraid of everything.

That's because your cats don't need to be fearless... They have the Lone Ranger as their caregiver...

Cats never expend any energy they don't need to... Watch a cat when they jump... juuuust enough to get them to where they want to go... that's why on occasion they come up short and miss the target... which is always funny... but never laugh at a cat... despite their "supposed" lack of short term memory... they remember when they are humiliated and will take revenge at the least opportune moment.
