SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Two Jewish members of the state's hate crimes commission resigned Thursday rather than serve with a Nation of Islam official appointed by Gov. Rod Blagojevich's administration. "Having a top member of an organization that continues to spew out hate on a regular basis made it impossible for us to continue to serve," said Lonnie Nasatir, who represents the Anti-Defamation League on the commission. Richard Hirschhaut, director of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, resigned later. How ignorant does a guy have to be to appoint someone from a Jew-hating, homosexual-hating, white-hating, pretty much everyone-hating CULT to a hate crime commission? Just shows the left is totally clueless when it comes to religion. By the way, I had to search this guy's official web site high and low to figure out he's a Democrat. Heads up, Governor. If you decide to remove this person, it would be a bad idea to replace her with a neo-Nazi skinhead or a KKK Kleagle. Maybe a Branch Davidian would do -- if you can find one still alive.

LR,interesting stuff. Your comment regarding Blagojevich's party affiliation made me suspect his handlers may also obfuscate something much more typical -whether he is a lawyer. He is:
Pepperdine School of Law, 1983, and they do.
Yur headline for this topic is classic, Ranger. I'm not convinced we need "Hate Crimes" augmentation of existing criminal acts, tho...
