Barbara Bush is A Mean Old Lady

That's actually a title I saw on a liberal blog today. But they didn't use nearly as flattering a picture as I did. It's the latest silliness being passed among the liberal bloggers. It seems that during a radio interview, Barbara Bush said, "And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them." And that triggered the latest spate of phony liberal outrage. Now, to explain what Mrs. Bush was saying, let's utilize a sixth sense that liberals don't seem to possess -- common sense. Thousands of the people housed in the Astrodome have been living in abject poverty all their lives. Thousands have never had a decent roof over their head, have never had air conditioning, have never even had running water, have never worn new, clean clothes, have always had to worry about where their next meal was coming from. In a city with a black mayor and a black police chief, nobody has EVER cared about them before. That is OVER. Thousands of them will be adopted by caring churches and families who will help them find jobs and set up a new life that they would never have had a shot at before. Many have never even been out of New Orleans for six or seven generations. SO, since many of the people housed in the Astrodome were underprivileged anyway, this IS working very well for them! Liberals have no clue about how silly their intellectual dishonesty makes them look. There's nothing more laughable than a liberal who tries to moralize. Liberals feel. Conservatives think.
