Underdressed

The European and American press sneered when Vice President Cheney attended the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz dressed as though he were attending a football game. There he sat among all the fur-hatted, black-coated Europeans in his military-looking parka. The White house -- showing nothing but class -- didn't bother to explain that while the European delegates were dressed like descendents of the top-hatted, long-coated European leaders who enabled the Holocaust, the Vice President resembled General Eisenhower. The big joke? The elitist left just didn't get it.
