Jolly Good, What, What
So, after my Law and Order UK experience, I got to thinking, did the first Americans speak with a British accent? And the answer is, no. Actually the British spoke like Americans. So, American General George Washington didn't sound like British General Montgomery, but British General Cornwallis did sound like American General George Patton.
