Algore is a prisoner of his own imagination. He imagined that there was some kind of climate disaster afoot, imagined that it was global warming and proceeded to believe and teach accordingly.
His is a philosophy of: "I thought it, therefore it must be true."

Al will never come to grips with reality. Losing to Bush only helped him become more unhinged.
