The Prince of Peace Wins the Nobel Prize
Can you believe this? I am nearly speechless. Not only did Obama get the Nobel prize, he was in office for less than two weeks before the nomination deadline. He should also get a line in the Guinness Book of World Records as the person who did the LEAST (if anything) to "win" the peace prize. This just shows that except for the 1.4 million dollars that goes with it, the Nobel is as worthless as a Confederate dollar. Lefties just can't let go of George Bush. The committee made it clear that when they gave the prize to Carter and Gore, they were doing it to spite W. This makes strike three. Liberals never stop hating. And there is Truths About Liberals # 15.

I still don't get how he could get it. I listened to Geraldo prattle on this morning of how he deserved and I still don't understand...really.
Based on what? and now that you told me the deadline was two weeks into his presidency...now I really don't get it.
I didn't realize the Nobel prize was that political at this point. Good Grief - another childhood idea shot out the window. I always thought the Nobel prize was a big deal and objective.
There you go again! (sigh)
When Arafat got it, that was the death of the Nobel prize.
Achievements leading to Nobel’s 2009 Peace Prize are difficult to undertsand.
While, Nobel’s Literary awards have often been as surprising, we must now guess what benefits one candidate over the rest in Peace awards.
Makes me wish Warren Buffett had dedicated his fantastic wealth to an American equivalent of the Nobel Prize instead of donating it to wealthy Bill Gate’s foundation.
Absolutely beyond belief.
