A Close Encounter
I stopped by Subway on my way home from work this morning and there was a car outside with Florida plates. Inside the car was a bunch of luggage and a dummy clothed in surgical greens with anti-Obama-care signs pinned to it. Inside the Subway were three people, one wearing an NRA cap who said to me, "Wow, that's a beautiful ride!" The other two were a big guy wearing a gray, flannel shirt and his Asian wife. GASP! Right-wing MOBSTERS! They were here for today's Tea Party! Luckily, I was wearing my gun, so I wasn't afraid. But, whew! That was too close for comfort! Glenn Beck will be covering the rally on Fox News from 1 to 3 eastern today. CSPAN will cover it from 1 to 4. I am going to DVR both of them and then compare them to see who did the better job. I'd love to go myself but I just finished a 10-hour shift and have another ahead of me tonight. Besides, if I were ever spotted at a conservative event, I would be SO fired! But I could be the drum major of a pro-abortion parade marching down Constitution Ave and my bosses would overlook it. Off to bed for me.

I wanted to go, too, but I had to go to work near Richmond. About the same number of miles in the opposite direction.
