Rambling

I stretched out in my recliner this afternoon to watch Glenn Beck. Sarah and Willow curled up in my lap for a nap. The next thing I knew, I was awakened by a cat fight in my lap and Beck was over. Guess I'll have to TiVO it at 2 am. Now I have TWO shows on Fox News that I try to never miss -- the other being O'Reilly. Beck is a must-see. He not only does stories that the MSN never cover, he gets them before any other show on FNC. His ratings at 5 pm are higher than any prime time show on MSNBC, CNBC, CNN and Headline News. But, that can also be said of Bret Baier, Shepard Smith, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren. How do I get released in Bermuda? I have a new slogan for the anti-war dopes. NO to water boarding! YES to surf boarding! Is anyone else enjoying the sight of Obama's hair turning white? I paid my final visit to the orthopedist last week. No more cast. No more boot. No more crutches. And no more treatment. He said the X-Rays had not changed. I still have the broken bone, but he will not operate. Guess I'll just have to walk it off. I am still in pain. I'll have to talk to my regular doctor about pain medication. That's a two to three-day process. Government health care -- what Obama wants for all of us. Hawaii is the only state that grows coffee. Ginger is lying on her back next to my grandfather clock. Willow is snoozing on my recliner. Sarah is stretched out on top of my juke box. And Gwen is sitting and staring at me. That's what she does when she wants me to go to bed. Henpecked by cats.

How do you get released in Bermuda? Blow up American troops in Iraq or Afghanistan and get caught. Then, after enjoying meals I can't afford here in America for a couple of years, complain you haven't been Mirandized.

I think Glenn Beck show reminds of my college lectures. He even has a whiteboard and makes notes!

His show is a little more dense so I can't be too tired when I watch it.

I am so glad he is doing well in the ratings. I think he has awesome guests you never get to see elsewhere and I wish he would have more guests.

I don't understand...your ankle...you are just told you have to live that way on painkillers!

Oh great...you will be addicted in 6 months! How could you not?

Who can put body weight on a broken ankle and not stay sedated! This makes no sense.

I take it Veteran's Hospitals do not have specialists?

These aren't veterans' hospitals, they are military hospitals. Most of the doctors and specialists are young and inexperienced, so I kinda fear having surgery in the first place.

My next step is to talk to my regular doctor again. This is unacceptable. I can't even exercise without fear of further injuring myself. I also need to get better pain treatment.

Gee - I feel stupid. I never even knew the distinction between a VA and Military Hospital 'til just now.

Yeah I think we need a second or third opinion on this. You haev gone on like this long enough.

If I were in your shoes...I would be 400LBS and MEAN to everyone waiving around a bat...because of the pain.

You must have a high tolerance for pain to have a broken ankle this long.
