Rambling
First things first. Here is a link I found to a site that links topics ideologically. It cannot only help you find subjects from a conservative perspective, but show you the wacky left's take on topics. Just type in the subject and then click on either the elephant or the weasel.
Tomorrow is the BIG DAY. My orthopedics appointment is at 9 am. After more than five months with a broken ankle, I finally get to find out when I can possibly get an appointment to have it fixed. Socialized medicine. Gotta love it.
And speaking of my ankle, I'm finally out of the funk of being crippled (scuse me, ankley challenged). Last week, I had my home theater connected and my computer network set up. By the way, the Geek Squad is aptly named.
The week before, I cleaned up my apartment, which allowed me to call the Geek Squad. The week before, I did my laundry, which laid me up for a day, but was totally worth it. I've found that I know have two drawers of underwear because I bought spares rather than washed it.
This week, my goal is to assemble a weird contraption that is supposed to be a media center. It SORTA looks like furniture. I guess if we're in the 21st century, we should get used to things looking Star Trekky. The big challenge will be to get my 41" TV from the fireplace onto that thing. I'll finally have a mantle to put my mantle clock on. Then, maybe I can start using the record player to transfer my vinyl to CD -- the mantle clock is on it right now.
O'Reilly time.

Hey you should go all the way with the Socialized meds thing...and gone out on state disability for the last five months until your appointment.
And had a SSI nurse come to your apartment daily to "dress your wounds" and give you pain meds...next time do it right. :)
Glad your getting fixed up though...do you have state disability where you are?...we got everything here in CA...socialists know where to come.
Hey, Tonto, I've been meaning to ask, How did your first trial go? Did you win?
I've posted a little about "legal precedence" today, and since I'm not an attorney, I'm hoping, if I am incorrect, you might come along and correct me, if you don't mind.
LR, "ankley challenged"...LOL!
Can't get away from the PC police, even for a ranger!
Re; "This week, my goal is to assemble a weird contraption that is supposed to be a media center."
I could help you. I have an electric screwdriver!
And Lincoln logs!
Mark - I will be right over...top your blog.
I settled the case the first day of trial. But it was good to prepare and learn to do cross examinations.
My plaintiffs didn't want to really go through trial so we settled.
If you really want to help, Mark, you can come over and help me get my pants off over this cast.
UHHH...if Mark makes it over there...I insist the process be videotaped and posted on YOUTUBE!
I didn't realize you were in a CAST!
If it's all the same to you, I think I'll pass. But thanks for asking.
