Mexican Drug Cartel Promotes Clean Family Life

It seems that a Mexican drug cartel has told its people to stay away from hard-drinking and drug abuse -- so they can more efficiently sell drugs to Americans who are too stupid and immoral to stay away from hard-drinking and drug abuse.

Rafael Cedeno, a leader of "The Family" cartel based in the western state of Michoacan, told police after he was arrested at the weekend he had trained several thousand cartel members with courses in ethics and personal improvement.

"The indoctrination of this group consisted of courses they considered to be for personal improvement, values, ethical and moral principles of the criminal gang. The objective was for the subordinates to avoid drugs, hard drinking and maintain family unity," the federal police said in a statement.

Remind me, does Revelations mention anything about the day when the inmates take over the asylum?

This is logical. If he can keep his dealers from "sampling" the product, not only will they be able to sell more, but they can sell with clear heads, thereby assuring him they won't make stupid mistakes.

This was the same admonition Tony Montana's boss made to him in the film "Scarface".

"Don't sample the product." If Scarface had heeded this, the movie wouldn't have ended so violently. It would have ended, but no so violently..
