I called it!!

This is my first time but I pulled a "Lone Ranger." In November 2008 after Prop 8 won and I read a post on Mark's blog, I did one myself. Here is my blogpost. I said what would happen here in CALIFORNIA after Prop 8, and I am already reading about my plan in article after article. Here...Here...and Here. These articles just don't go far enough and say what the real everyday changes will be in how we get married in this state...and eventually country...a la Europe. It is not the plan I want. It is just what I know legally how it will have to play out. "No on Prop 8" people aren't going anywhere. There is a formula for all the stupid laws we see... and court rulings we read. Unfortunately, I only had to practice law 3 years before I figured it out and then the mystery was gone and I realized our lives are in the hands of idiots! Anyway, these articles repeat exactly what I said would happen. Except they skip the step about forcing churches to marry homosexuals and skip to the part where no one gets "married" by the state just "united." Which is the only way not to force churches to marry people they don't want. So now no one "gets married." The word "marriage" will be removed from our vocabulary and replaced with words like, "espousal," and "civil unions" and "domestic partnerships" and if gay couples can't have marriage NO ONE WILL and our marriages will have to be called the same. I just knew it. I feel so Lone Ranger today...LR, I hope I have been a good student.
