The End Is Near

SO, I called the appointment line Tuesday and had them relay a message to my doctor, "Where's my appointment?" On Wednesday, my doctor's nurse called me and said the doctor had not made an appointment, but a referral, and I should have made the appointment -- the exact opposite of what my doctor said she'd do more than a month ago. Nurse said she will make another referral, since the last one expired. Thursday, I called the appointment line and there was no referral. Told them to relay a message to my doctor, "Where's my referral?" Friday, nurse calls me and says NOW the referral is in the system and I should call the appointment line again. Immediately called the appointment line and they said the referral is being "reviewed" and I should call back Monday. SO, if I'm interpreting this right, I have an appointment Monday to call for an appointment for the broken ankle I've had for more than four months. This is what Obama wants for all of us.
