The Health Risks of Smoking

DATELINE:Riyadh, Feb 2, 2009 (AFP) - A Sudanese man has been sentenced to 30 lashes for smoking on a domestic Saudi Arabian Airlines flight, local media reported on Monday. The unnamed man had refused to put out his cigarette on the flight to the Red Sea port city of Jeddah from Qurayyat in northern Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Gazette said.

That kind of overkill is heading our way with Obama in charge. Fortunately for smokers, that specific crime probably won't be legislated due to the fact that Hussein is a smmoker himself.

Of Course, according to NPR, that is his ONLY flaw.

He has a do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do mentality. He tells common folk to turn their thermostats down to 68 but keeps the oval office 10 degrees warmer than that. He tells people to learn a foreign language, but doesn't know one himself. He spanks CEO's for living a lavish lifestyle and then serves hundred-dollar steaks at a cocktail party. Tobacco will never be banned because the government has its fingers in the pie. They can't afford to lose the tax revenue.
