What's Next, Uniforms?

You might think this is a joke, but it is creepily true. This is the new Obama salute. No kidding!
Rick Husong, owner of a Los Angeles creative agency (whatever that is) says, "Our goal is to see a crowd of 75,000 people at Obama's nomination speech holding their hands above their heads, fingers laced together in support of a new direction for this country, a renewed hope, and acceptance of responsibility for our future."
Oh PLEASE! YES! YES! YES! That's what I want to see too! Imagine the reaction of the viewing audience when they see 75,000 people doing this at the sight of Obama! THAT will be the nail in his coffin! Husong said he got the idea from the famous red, white and blue Obama-Progress poster.
No, he didn't. At the risk of being repetitive, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE PLEEEEAAASSSSE do that at the convention. And it wouldn't hurt if all the delegates said, "OOOOOHHHHMMMM," or chanted Obama's name.

Looks like a certain obscene gesture teens used to make when I was in high school.

Actually, in American sign language it IS an obscene gesture -- if done with one hand. I assume two hands means it's doubled.

I've seen truckers do it with both hands...no hands on the wheel. I can't think of anything but the obscene meaning when I see this.
