BAGHDAD - The United States is now winning the war that two years ago seemed lost. Limited, sometimes sharp fighting and periodic terrorist bombings in Iraq are likely to continue, possibly for years. But the Iraqi government and the U.S. now are able to shift focus from mainly combat to mainly building the fragile beginnings of peace — a transition that many found almost unthinkable as recently as one year ago.The problem with this story is that only the mealy-mouthed Democrat leadership and their mind-numbed liberal followers thought we were losing. You think Reid, Pelosi, Murtha, et. al. will admit they were wrong? Don't hold your breath. But THOSE stories don't make it into the MSM. Here are more than 2000 stories the AP somehow overlooked. Hardly a day goes by when our troops don't capture or kill terrorists or disrupt their operations.

What I don't understand is Darth Obama's thinking that a surge in Iraq won't work but a surge someplace else will...???
Well surely if any winning is going on it must have something to do with Barack's recent visit to the area...it's the only logical explanation.:)
Wow. The end of the world so soon??
I noticed they still got their digs in. I won't be at all surprised to hear a slant on it like the one Tonto suggested.
