Remember the note? The note that Obama wrote to God and stuck into the Western Wall in Jerusalem? And then people were outraged, OUTRAGED, I say! When someone
leaked the note to a newspaper.
Senator Barack Obama probably thought that the prayer he penned in the solitude of his King David Hotel room in Jerusalem would remain between him and the Almighty. But an Orthodox Jewish student had other ideas.
Did any of my readers actually think that Obama believed that note would remain between him and God?
Welllll, he didn't. In fact, the real outrage here is how Obama used the most sacred place in Israel for
his own self-promotion.
What initially seemed to be a journalistic scoop of dubious moral propriety now seems to be a case of an Israeli paper being played by the Barack Obama campaign. Maariv, the second most popular newspaper in Israel, was roundly criticized for publishing the note Obama left in the Kotel. But now a Maariv spokesperson says that publication of the note was pre-approved for international publication by the Obama campaign, leading to the conclusion that the "private" prayer was intentionally leaked for public consumption.
Remember when Bill Clinton walked down Normandy Beach and arranged some rocks to form a cross? Turns out those were the only rocks on the beach and were put there by his staff.
Obama out-Clintons Clinton. How low can you go, Obama? How low can you go??

I hate stories like this. Just hate it. I know it was staged and I hate to be cynical about things like a written prayer... considering it was a nice humble thought he wrote.
That is why I hate it when a politician is ever seen praying aloud or saying anything religious. I can't believe anything they say so I would rather not even hear it. Makes me sick. It preys on [no pun intended] my most vulnerable side the part of me that wants to believe what I am seeing/hearing.
If Obama's true prayer were revealed it would probably go something like this:
"Allah, please destroy my enemy, the United States of America, Kill all the babies, and tax 90% of the income of all Republicans."
I don't think it's humble at all. He wants to be an "instrument" of God's Will--that is, President of the World...
It was obvious baloney. The only question is whether the ruse would be exposed. we heard all about he note in the MSM; we'll here nothing of the exposee.
I think all religious talk by politicians is a joke...can't think of a time when it sounded sincere...even if they cried!
How does their skin get so thick they aren't bothered by it?...I know that was a rhetorical question.
I am sure Obama hasn't asked himself that question in a long time if ever.
