On MSNBC’s Hardball last night (Monday), host Chris Matthews asked former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan if he saw “FOX television as a tool” to get the White House’s “message out” while he was in the Bush administration. “Certainly there were commentators and other, pundits at FOX News, that were useful to the White House,” replied McClellan, adding that they were given “talking points.”McClellen went on O'Reilly's radio show Tuesday and ADMITTED that he had NO knowledge that O'Reilly received talking points from the White House. Seems Chris Matthews -- that powerhouse interviewer, who has one of the lowest-rated shows in cable news -- baited him and cut him off. Poooor baby! McClellen APOLOGIZED! HAH! Click on Talking Points 7/29 to hear the TRUTH. Once again, O'Reilly was far too kind to a weasel.
