More on Laura

Laura Ingraham's situation keeps getting mysteriouser and mysteriouser. This message was briefly posted on her site. Obviously, she is having some sort of contract dispute. As popular as her show is, she's not making the millions that talkers like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are. I'm not sure if she has the pull to leverage a better deal.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO LAURA LISTENERS Due to contractual obligations, for the present time I am unable to reveal why I am not currently hosting The Laura Ingraham Show. Rest assured, this absence is not of my choosing, nor is it health or family related. I am ready, willing and eager to continue the conversation we started seven years ago about politics and the culture. (Heck, if cancer couldn't keep me off the airwaves for long, nothing will.) Keep checking the site for a schedule of my appearances on the Fox News Channel. All queries regarding my on-air status should be directed to Talk Radio Network's management at 541 474 2297 or send an email. Thanks for sticking with me, and...Power to the People!

Last night,(well, it's on at night in New York) Monica Crowley filled in, but she never let on that it was anything other that a routine night off for Laura. Whatever it is, I hope it's resolved soon.

Perhaps you should look into doing a guest host gig. I heard Monica Crowley on there last night, and was not impressed. You'd be at least that good.

Soooo, I'd be at least as good as someone who didn't impress you. Thanks. Actually, talk radio is one of the few things I've never done in broadcasting. But, I have an exclusivity contract. I would have to give up my under-worked, overpaid job to do that. It seems that actually expressing my opinion about news would violate my objectivity. Not that my coworkers don't violate their objectivity every time they write a story.
