Killer Cat

So, I brought Ginger home yesterday. They actually checked her with a geiger counter before they released her. They dangled the sensor about five feet from her carrier before the radioactivity finally dropped off. When I opened her carrier at home, amazingly, she made a bee-line for Gwen and gave her a good sniff. Then, she proceeded to explore the apartment, inch by inch. But, she is not a happy cat. I was told not to hold her for more than 45 minutes a day no longer than 15 minutes at a time. She just can't understand why she can't jump into my lap whenever she wants. So, she just sits next to my recliner and gives me that silent meow of hers. It's going to be a long two weeks. I was also told not to let her sleep with me. Her bed is on my bed about two feet away, so I thought it would be ok. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but when I woke up this morning after 10 hours of sleep, I was dizzy and unsteady on my feet. Took me about an hour to fully wake up. Now, all I have to do is wait for her super powers to kick in. I won't mind if she starts flying around the apartment, but I draw the line at breathing fire.

What a coincidence! I write about my dog, and you write about your cat. Both are dangerous.

I must have missed it but what exactly is wrong with Ginger?

She has hyperthyroidism. That's a benign tumor on her thyroid. Makes her hyperactive and annoying. I took her in for a radiation injection, which is supposed to cure it. I'll get to your email soon. I hope.
