Dog Whisperer

If you have a dog, and if you get the National Geographic Channel, you MUST watch the Dog Whisperer. Despite the goofy title, Cesar Millan is a miracle worker. He takes dogs that have had serious problems for YEARS and corrects them in only minutes. I watch shows on Animal Planet where dogs are put down because they are protective of their food. Yet, this guy can correct that behavior in less than five minutes. You can catch reruns every day and new episodes on Friday nights. Makes me wish I had a dog. But I have cats. This morning I was in the bathroom, pulling up my briefs and one end of the toilet paper roll got caught in the elastic. While trying to get it out, I dropped the roll and Ginger pounced on it. She rolled it out into the dining room, with me chasing her, one end of the roll still caught in my briefs. It seems that when you tug on a roll of toilet paper, it doesn't come to you, it just unrolls further. So, I had to crawl under the dining room table to wrestle it away from Ginger. Glad I live alone. I have cats. I don't know how much blogging I'll be able to do this weekend, because Tibet is still a mess. It promises to only get worse. But at least it gives people a glimpse of the REAL China.

I could have gone all day without the visual...that's just too funny.

Regarding China; I hope the story stays in the news. People don't seem to understand what China is all about.

I was watching tonight. There was a German shepherd mix that had been whining and crying ever since this couple brought their baby home from the hospital. Cesar touched the dog ONCE and that was the end of it.

Thanks for taking us into the bathroom with you. Keep us in the loop.

Dogs rule, cats drool.

Spekaing of things that have been overlooked...like China. How has the speech that Rev Wright made and Obama has not actually shunned completely...already out of the news so fast. This is not the same as words by little old Grandma.

If any other nominee was caught at a church event where people of any race spoke the words of Rev. Wright's speech against America their career would be over.

I went to school with a lot of people who belonged to that church and believed the way he does, and they were scary and militant...and If that is not the worst form of terrorism we should avoid...then I don't know what is.

Sean Hannity broke that story and Fox News is hitting it hard. I'm not surprised that the liberal media outlets are trying to forget it as fast as they can.
