View larger image | LOS ANGELES (AP) - A revamped online file-sharing service aims to woo legions of music fans by offering unlimited, free song downloads that are compatible with iPods, and all with the blessing of major recording companies. Qtrax, which makes its debut Sunday, is the latest online music venture counting on the lure of free music to draw in music fans and on advertising to pay the bills, namely record company licensing fees. |

MUSICA!
I hate to tell you this, but all the money you ever paid to download music (if any) was wasted. Starting today, a new download site called QTRAX will let you download as much music as you want for free and legally. Although you won't be able to burn the music to CD, you will be able to store them on your computer or transfer them to portable music devices such as the ipod. How do they do it?
