Global Warming Saves Hillary
That's my excuse. The big story today is not going to be that Hillary won, but that every poll and pundit got it wrong. I have dibs on the excuse that the spring-like temperatures got older people out who weren't going to vote for a young punk like Obama. And the notoriously undependable youth whom Obama was depending on probably decided to frolic rather than vote. So, I'm blaming it on Gaia. I wouldn't blame it on God, because He's not cruel. Hillary -- wearing some kind of jacket made from the upholstery of the furniture they stole from the White house -- looked like she expected it all along. So I'm through feeling sorry for her.
At least I got the Republican side right.
It was 61 degrees at 3 am this morning. Hopefully, the weather will hold so I can drive top down to Andrews AFB this morning for a medical appointment. Coincidentally, I also got a craving for a garden salad at 3 am, so off I went to the new Harris Teeters just down the road. This isn't the new Harris Teeters that I talked about before, but a newer one even closer. Ranch dressing.
I am going to try today to make German potato salad today for the first time. Whenever I try a new dish, I get at least three recipes from the Internet, combine their similarities and reject their differences. What comes out is usually perfect.
Well, I'm going to take down the Christmas lights on my balcony before the weather turns bad again.

I disagree. She won the sympathy vote. She played gullible Liberal voters like a Stradivarius when she made that (almost) tearful speech.
Rush was right(again): Liberals feel, Conservatives think.
I'm not sure she's that good an actress. It might have been exhaustion. But you are right, liberals respond to that kind of drama.
LR, when it comes to tearing up, every woman is that good of an actress. ;)
I wonder...
If Hillary wins the presidency, will she and Bill bring back the stolen furniture to the White House, or will they steal the furniture that the taxpayers replaced the stolen furniture with when they leave again?
And which letter will their staff break off the computer keyboards when they leave next time? (The "W"s are already gone...)
You guys are awful tough on this commie beeyotch...She is a Human Being, after all. Well, maybe not.
