Wednesday
I went to the periodontist today for a "deep cleaning." This guy works only two days a week. Considering that a "deep cleaning" cost me nearly $900, I can understand why. Anyway, when I got home, I decided to take a nap to sleep off the Novocaine. After a nap of a few hours, I decided I'd try to make a wiener schnitzel for the first time. The ingredients are really simple, but I didn't have some of them. So, off to the grocery store. As I was about to go out the door, I looked in the mirror. Good thing I did, because I had a trail of blood trailing from each corner of my mouth, down my chin. I looked like Christopher Lee in an old Dracula movie.
The Santa drive didn't come off Tuesday. It was just too cold. The last time I drove a convertible in freezing weather, I woke up the next morning with Bell's palsy. I didn't do it today either because I was busy bleeding into my pillow. It's tomorrow or never. I have a medical appointment at Andrews in the morning. After tomorrow, I'm back to work. I have a turkey, chicken and duck thawing in the fridge, and I'll be cooking in the morning, sleeping in the afternoon and working at night for three days.
I'm off to bed.

$900!!! I can't believe that for a deep cleaning. I have one scheduled next week and now think I should ask how much? $900 dollars!!?? good grief.
I hope Santa works out because this year you have new wheels and shiny new teeth to show off. :)
I think that Dentist saw you coming.
He certainly cleaned my wallet deeply.
