Steeeerike!

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Hollywood writers will go on strike after last-ditch talks called by a federal mediator failed. Writers and studios broke off talks late Sunday after east coast members of the writers union declared they were officially on strike, the group representing producers said. Last-ditch negotiations between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers ended after about 11 hours.
Hollywood insiders say the first programs to be affected by the strike will be the fake news programs, like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. I guess Jon Stewart isn't nearly as glib when there's nobody to put words in his mouth. Viewers will have to tune in to CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and MSNBC to get their fake news.
