Dan Rather Won't Be Covering the Olympics

China says it is going to crack down on fake reporters at next year's Olympics. That's ChiCom talk for repressing anyone who reports negatively on the Communist regime. I don't know why China was even considered for the games. For all their prattling about human rights and torture, liberals have never met a brutal Communist regime they didn't like.

The authorities are cracking down on bogus reporters to guarantee a fair, open and clean journalism environment for overseas reporters as the 2008 Olympics Games approaches, the country's top press official said. Liu Binjie, minister of the General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP), said fake reporters, especially those representing overseas-registered media, harm society and deserve severe punishment.

25 Immutable Truths About Liberals

Over the years I've been writing this blog, I've been throwing out little self-evident truths that seem to have no exceptions that prove the rule. I've made a list of some of them and will add to it as I remember them or make up more. Most of this list I've come up with myself. A few I've borrowed from others.

11. There are no honest liberals. If they were honest -- especially to themselves -- they would be conservatives.
