Word of the Day

WRIGHTWOOD, California (AP) -- A magnitude 4.2 earthquake hit San Bernardino County early Tuesday, sending judders across the region, authorities said. Judders? Judder: chiefly British : to vibrate with intensity It isn't often I come across a new word. But my editor told me if I ever slip it into a story, he'll slip it right out again. And what's the Associated Press doing speaking British in the first place?

LOL!

When I came across that word as I read, I had the exact response!

Being close enough to Wrightwood to feel a 4.2, I can tell you we do NOT use the word "judders" around here! :)

Well, I'm guessing since they don't like the US they would just speak British.
