The Letter

I'm going to keep this at the top of the page until the auction ends Friday. It is the first time in our history that so many politicians (democrats) have banded together to suppress the free speech of a private citizen. And Rush is rubbing their nose in it. Priceless!

I think that this is absolutely great!

Rush has stated that he will match the high bid, and has challenged each of the signatories of the letter to do the same.

I'm curious to see how many of them do...

(I'd be willing to bet that none of them will...)

I hope he raises a huge stink about those who don't match it. It's about time those drama queens on the left got a taste of their own medicine.

Almost a million! Holy sh*t! Sorry for the the almost profanity but did anyone expect it to go this high? This is awesome. If you are a major news reporter, even with your bias, some of you will have to report on this. This is just too cool. Looks like Soros put in a bid, no?

I was thinking maybe half a million. Somebody like Reid or Pelosi could still easily match that, since they've used their positions to enrich themselves. But they won't.

It's 11:45 pm and the bidding is now past a million 200 thousand dollars. I'm almost tempted to stay up all night and watch. But it will be here in the morning. I venture to say this is the last time the Dems in the Senate will shoot their mouths off -- at Rush, anyway.

This has become a MAJOR story. Something like this has never happened before in the history of our country. It should be interesting to see how much coverage it gets in the lamestream media.

Over a million. That's ridiculous. I don't care if it is a history making letter. One would have to have more dollars than sense to pay that much.

Still, it is for a worthy charity. I suppose there are some people who donate that much to charity all the time. It's just hard for a regular guy like me to fathom it.

1:25 am. Over two million. NOW I agree it's getting ridiculous. I wonder if George Soros is trying to bankrupt Rush. They'll have to do better than that though, since Rush makes about 30 million a year.
