Guns Are Dangerous!
When our Founders drafted the First Amendment, they never envisioned Glocks and assault rifles. Be the same token, they never envisioned computers and desktop publishing when they wrote the Second Amendment. If we must ban guns, then we should also go back to quills and lead type.
I don't really buy that arguement. Since we know Da Vinci had design for a multiround weapon in his notebook. The Romans had a Balistia that quickly launched missles. And the Chinese had a deal that looks like a modern missile battery.
American Rifleman TV a couple months ago did a segment about a British Rifle that was a Breachloading rifle (which was an essential step to a multiround weapon.)
Then there is the air rifle that Lewis and Clark took with the Corp of discovery that held 22 rounds. It supposedly had the same fps as a Kentucky Rifle.
Also, I don't buy that with the eventive, scientific minds of Ben Franklin and President Jefferson couldn't have imagined, or wished for something like the .50 Cal.

But that's just my plug nickle.
