Why Do Liberals Hate Jews?

Hatred of Jews seems to go hand in hand with leftism. I don't know why, but liberals -- even self-loathing liberal Jews -- hate Jews. They've managed to separate anti-Semitism from anti-Zionism, parroting all sorts of scurrilous lies about Jews being the "occupiers" of Arab land. Even the great liberal icon, FDR, refused to change immigration laws to allow Jews sanctuary from the Nazi Holocaust. I very seldom do this, but I am poaching a link from Ms. Green's site because I think it's so important that everyone should spread it around. Get a cup of coffee and watch this.

Trader Rick said...: It's not just the far left that hates Jews--some of the far right do too. It's not a political thing. Hatred and oppression of Jws has been universal for thousands of years. Part of the problem has been their refusal to assimilate into the cultures of their host countries, and then, thru intelligence and hard work, becoming sucessful and rich, and resented.; 6:19 AM

Lone Ranger said...: Liberals are the LAST people to kvetch about not assimilating, since they don't assimilate into their OWN society. They refuse to comply with moral standards. They refuse to accept the Constitution as it is written, they obey only the laws they want to obey. Like Muslims, they try to transform society to conform with THEIR standards (or lack thereof).

There may be some conservative anti-Semites, but I've never met any. Whereas, anti-Semitism is almost universal with liberals. FDR refused to change our immigration laws to allow European Jews to escape the Holocaust. He didn't want to hear about it, he didn't want to talk about it. He totally ignored what the Nazis were doing to European Jews.

We've seen what the Democratic Party has done to Joe Lieberman. Democrats regard Jews the same way they regard blacks. If they don't think, speak and particularly, vote liberal, they are shunned and demonized.

I can understand people not wanting to totally assimilate for religious reasons. But at the very minimum, they should speak the language and obey the laws of their host country. Muslims don't want to do that, Jews don't have a problem with it. Having lived in a Muslim country, I know I have no desire to conform with Muslim society in order to get along. No problem, I just live elsewhere, I don't demand that a society change in order to conform with me. We don't demand that from people of other religions, Israel doesn't demand that of other religions, but Muslims insist that everyone be Muslim and liberals insist that everyone be secular.; 1:55 PM

I don't use talking points, I create them.

1. Hate makes people stoopid.

25 Immutable Truths About Liberals

Over the years I've been writing this blog, I've been throwing out little self-evident truths that seem to have no exceptions that prove the rule. I've made a list of some of them and will add to it as I remember them or make up more. Most of this list I've come up with myself. A few I've borrowed from others.

1. Always expect the worst from a liberal and you will never be surprised.

2. Never try to reason with a liberal. They disregard any evidence that conflicts with their beliefs.

3. You can always tell what liberals are up to by what they accuse conservatives of doing.

4. Liberals don't debate, they argue.

5. The only standards liberals have are double standards.

6. Liberals feel, conservatives think.

7. Whenever you don't understand a liberal's motives, just look for the money.

8. Liberals cannot be embarrassed. They lack the gene to blush.

9. The Liberal Golden Rule is, "Do unto others but scream bloody murder if they do unto you."

10. Liberals don't have leaders, they have demi-gods.

11. There are no honest liberals. If they were honest -- especially to themselves -- they would be conservatives.

12. A liberal's business is nobody's business, but everyone's business is a liberal's business.

13. Liberals have an inflated sense of self-worth. They are like house flies that criticize the air-worthiness of a Stealth fighter. (Sarah Palin, George W. Bush, ad infinitum are morons.)

14. Liberals lack a sixth sense that conservatives have in abundance -- common sense.

15. Liberals never stop hating.

16. There are only two types of liberals -- the deceivers and the deceived. The difficulty is telling them apart.

17. Every time liberals get on their high horse, they get bucked off.

18. Liberal programs are so wonderful that they have to be forced on people.

20. When given a moral choice, liberals always come down on the wrong side of the fence.
