The boyfriend, Bobby Cutts Jr., has been on paid administrative leave from his job.
The police department had tried to fire Cutts in 2003 when authorities conducting a drug raid on his cousin's home found his handgun hidden under a mattress. Canton police officials said Cutts gave the gun to his cousin for protection and said Cutts was lying when he reported the gun stolen. A federal arbitrator ordered the city to reinstate him, saying police had not proved the allegation.
Cutts pleaded no contest to a disorderly conduct charge in 1998 after he was accused of breaking into the home of a former girlfriend. He was sentenced to three years' probation. Oh, and he's married, although separated -- again. Just imagine all the suffering that could be avoided if people just obeyed the seventh commandment -- You shall not commit adultery. I've always lived by my own commandment -- Always exercise common sense. From the pictures I've seen of Jesse Davis, she looked like an intelligent woman. So why did she allow a thug like Cutts to impregnate her -- twice? Is there such a shortage of men out there that women have to settle? And where is their common sense? Actions have consequences. Common sense should tell a woman that if she teams up with a man who has a checkered past and if she violates social norms that have been observed for centuries, anything could happen.
