Thugs and the Women Who Love Them

The drama of a pregnant Ohio woman who disappeared 10 days ago has wound down to its foregone conclusion. Her body was found Saturday and her boyfriend, a (can I say black?) police officer, whose main goal in life seems to have been spreading his DNA as far and wide as possible, has been arrested on two counts of murder. I'm wondering if his profession had been abortionist, whether he'd have been arrested on just one count. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have yet to make an appearance. I guess it's plain even to them that the boyfriend done it. So, here's my question. Why are women attracted to these dysfunctional losers?

The boyfriend, Bobby Cutts Jr., has been on paid administrative leave from his job.

The police department had tried to fire Cutts in 2003 when authorities conducting a drug raid on his cousin's home found his handgun hidden under a mattress. Canton police officials said Cutts gave the gun to his cousin for protection and said Cutts was lying when he reported the gun stolen. A federal arbitrator ordered the city to reinstate him, saying police had not proved the allegation.

Cutts pleaded no contest to a disorderly conduct charge in 1998 after he was accused of breaking into the home of a former girlfriend. He was sentenced to three years' probation. Oh, and he's married, although separated -- again. Just imagine all the suffering that could be avoided if people just obeyed the seventh commandment -- You shall not commit adultery. I've always lived by my own commandment -- Always exercise common sense. From the pictures I've seen of Jesse Davis, she looked like an intelligent woman. So why did she allow a thug like Cutts to impregnate her -- twice? Is there such a shortage of men out there that women have to settle? And where is their common sense? Actions have consequences. Common sense should tell a woman that if she teams up with a man who has a checkered past and if she violates social norms that have been observed for centuries, anything could happen.

When I heard that he was bieing charged with the murder of an unborn baby, I thought as you did--What the???? Mothers can legally kill their babies, but not fathers???? I't a double standard for sure. What a bizarre planet we live on.
