Surge is Working

I just got my daily development report from Iraq:
Following are security developments in Iraq at 0500 GMT on Saturday:

BAGHDAD - Police found 11 bodies on the streets of Baghdad on Friday. Most had been shot dead.

NAJAF - Gunmen killed a police officer and wounded two of his bodyguards on the road between Najaf and the nearby town of Kufa on Friday. Najaf is 160 km (100 miles) south of Baghdad.

FALLUJA - Gunmen killed Ahmed Jasim, deputy chairman of the sports committee in the local council of Falluja, on Friday. Falluja is 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad.

KIRKUK - Police found a body on Friday showing signs of torture in the city of Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad.
That's it. This report used to run two or three pages long. Meanwhile, this just came in from Afghanistan:
Up to 60 Taliban fighters were killed in air and ground attacks on militants near southeastern Afghanistan's border with Pakistan, the NATO-led force said Saturday.

The militants were spotted late Friday preparing to attack, spokesmen for NATO's International Security Assistance Force told AFP.

Security forces struck first and "up to 60 Taliban were killed," Major Donald Korpi said.

Should be interesting to see if any of the MSM report that. The insurgents in both countries are taking a beating. Just because our corrupt media doesn't report it, doesn't mean it isn't happening.

The anti-American broadcast TV networks are quick to point out coalition casualties, as well they should, but are loathe to report enemy body counts, if they can at all avoid it. They are outing themselves more and more everyday with their biased pro-terrorist, pro-communist reporting...
