Yeah I know Americans like the place...no question...what's not to like it is in the Carribean? Great food.
What I mean to say is that tourist hotels etc are kept separate and live a different life from the Cuban...on purpose.
the average cuban is not living the life of a visiting governor, Oliver Stone, or any politician or any movie star in Cuba...come on Castro does have an agenda to move forward.
From the Cubans I know who try to send relatives food and toiletries etc. they say it is awful and very different from a tourist who comes there.
And Castro makes sure that is the view that is seen.
I mean come on how is Castro able to make something work that the USSR could not?
