Where does this leave Guiliani?

Well now that Giuliani has been outed about Planned Parenthood...Is he done? Or doing good by staying down the middle? Will he make it through the primary? I just don't know about this issue anymore if it makes a difference? Conservatives polled show only 35% who want to ban all abortions and about the same percentage on those who want to make abortions more difficult although I think that is a low number for that issue. Do conservatives have the same fervor about abortion when the candidate might be the right guy for the job to handle terrorism?

Your last question is it. When you consider us getting attacked on our own soil, terrorism moves to the front of the line. After all, if we're dead abortion would pretty much be moot point, no? National security has to come first.

In a perfect world,. . . uh, scratch that. The world isn't perfect and won't be anytime soon.

The president really can't do much about abortion except to sign or veto any bill that crosses his desk. I think Giuliani would sign bills funding stem cell research, funding abortions for the poor, etc. He's also pro gun control. Those points are really moot, since the Republican Party has lost its heart. The party was founded to fight slavery, but it doesn't stand for much of anything anymore.

True, LR.

I guess the left is also afraid of Supreme Court nominees that are pro-life.

One of these days I'm going to make myself a bumper sticker that says, "I'm Pro-Choice--choose to keep your pants on!"

Or, to put a Rush twist on it, "Abstinence--works every time it's tried."

I'm torn where it comes to Mayor Guilliani. While he is a leader and cleaned up New York, he has bragged about how he weilded the constition against the populace of New York City when he was a mayor, ignoring the fact that Founders saw the constitution as a shackle to the National government, hindering how much they could inflict violations of the rights of citizens.

With some of the bills in Congress that would confiscate the rights of citizens by violating the Second Amendment, a gun control president is a threat to the liberty of American Citizens.

Then there are the other issues I care about that I know he is not a Republican on, I just don't know how much I want to trust a man that sees the constitution as a weapon just to feel safe. I know what the commie chick would do if we were attacked and she was president, shoot I know what all the libs would do (nothing) I just don't want to sacrifice my beliefs to vote for someone who will stand and fight for this country, while under cutting our rights.

Giuliani is a liberal. That's all you have to know about him. That's the only type of Republican New Yorkers will elect. A conservative Democrat like Zell Miller would make a far better president than a liberal Republican. I wouldn't vote for a liberal, Republican or not. Having said that, I also don't know if I could hold my breath long enough to vote for a Democrat, conservative or not.

Abortion IS Terrorism, it is HERE, It is NOW, and it has killed more innocent human beings than Stalin, Hitler and Bin Ladin combined...
