The Hat-feud and the Real McCoy

Not to open old wounds, but here is a picture of the Lone Ranger with his hat removed, indoors, in the presence of a lady. http://www.lonerangerfanclub.com/images/tlr1.jpg

I guess I'm stupid. How does that open old wounds?

Trader Rick and I have a running battle about when a cowboy should take off his hat. I say indoors when eating and in the presence of a woman and he says NEVER.

This has to be the most entertaining argument I have seen in a while! I was raised to always take my hat off at the dinner table. Of course, I don't really wear cowboys hats, so indoors with a ball cap didn't really seem to be an issue.

Trader Rick, how about when a cowboy is proposing to his girl? :)

This is obviously a photo shop deal--you got his hair too curly!

Actually, Lone Ranger has had an effect on my hat ettikett. Most of the eateries, I frequent are filled with guys with John Deer caps and manure on their boots. But a young lady took me to a semi-hoity toity cafe the other day, and I looked around and NONE of the men had hats on, so I took mine off. But then again I don't think these city slickers WEAR hats...

One of the reasons I like to keep the hat on, is that since I bouught my little shaver-thing, and cut my own hair to about a half inch, I'm just too sexy and I don't like all the adoring stares and mouthed come ons I get from the girls...
